Promoting better employment opportunities for Tibetans has long been one of the key focuses of China's national aid program for the Xizang Autonomous Region. Local authorities in Chongqing, in cooperation with enterprises have made significant efforts to help many young people from Xizang find employment in Chongqing, while also contributing to talent development for Xizang's future growth. CGTN reporter Gong Ming has the story.

Luosong Zhuoga, from Chamdo, Xizang Autonomous Region, currently works as a data annotator at a tech company in Chongqing that provides Artificial intelligence data services. Initially unfamiliar with the field, she has become proficient in data processing and now serves as a team leader.

LUOSONG ZHUOGA, Employee "After graduation, I found out about job opportunities through our local government's human resources department. I joined a skills training program organized by this company in Chongqing and ended up staying here to work. Besides the financial support, I've also had many opportunities to grow."

In coordination with relevant departments in Xizang's Chamdo and the Chongqing Aid-Xizang Work Team, the company has provided professional skills training to over 200 Tibetan college graduates. Currently, the company employs 27 graduates from Chamdo. To help them integrate better into the team, the company frequently organizes team-building activities and targeted business training.

RENG XIANG, CEO of Chongqing Fellisen Technology Co., Ltd. "The company will provide language training for Tibetan youth to improve communication with other employees. We're also focused on preparing them for training and management positions. More graduates from Xizang will be joining us soon, which will make the training even more effective since they'll share the same language and culture."

Dawa, another employee from Chamdo who has worked here for over a year, has been recognized as an outstanding employee for the last quarter due to his excellent professional skills and meticulous work attitude in handling artificial intelligence data audits. To nurture talent, the company has also started assigning Dawa more responsibilities.

DAWA, Employee "At first, I wasn't really used to the work environment, but the experienced folks at the company helped us get familiar with the projects quickly. Now, when new people join, we also help train them so they can adjust faster."

The employment service center jointly established by Chongqing and Chamdo plans to expand cooperation with more companies to provide additional job opportunities. They regularly conduct video follow-ups with Tibetan youth employed in Chongqing, offering job consultations, information updates, and psychological support. The center also organizes family visits for Tibetans and other events to strengthen ties between the two regions.

CHEN LU, Head of the Chongqing-Chamdo, Employment Assistance and Liaison Service Center "By organizing relevant activities, we've helped college graduates from Xizang broaden their vision about job opportunities. We've also ramped up recruitment efforts, ensuring that companies and candidates are better matched, allowing us to pinpoint the right talent for the right roles."

So far more than 5,400 people from Chamdo have secured employment and insurance in Chongqing. Working in Chongqing has broadened the horizons of many young people from Xizang, giving them greater expectations for the future.

DAWA, Employee "By working here, I'll first master more skills. In the future, if I get the chance, I still want to go back to my hometown and use what I've learned to help with local development."

GONG MING, Chongqing Municipality "In recent years, the 'partner assistance' policy toward Xizang has facilitated more Tibetan youths and college graduates to find jobs outside the region. This not only helps strengthen inter-regional exchanges and promote ethnic integration, but also plays a crucial role in cultivating and retaining talent needed for the development of Xizang Autonomous Region.
